Kilkenny name team to face Tipperary in Allianz Hurling League

Killian Doyle will earn his first Kilkenny start tomorrow afternoon

Kilkenny and Tipperary have both made a number of changes for Sunday's Allianz National Hurling League clash in UPMC Nowlan Park.

The visitors have made 10 changes in total with the likes of Seamus Callinan, Jason Forde, Jake Morris and Dan McCormack being named start for the Premier County.

Kilkenny on the other hand have made four alterations from their Round 1 victory over Antrim with Conor Heary and Darragh Corcoran coming into defence at the expense of Niall Rowe and David Blanchfield.

Heary is part of an all O'Loughlin Gaels full back line alongside all-stars Mikey Butler and Huw Lawlor while Darragh Corcoran starts at wing back and will captain the side.

Derek Lyng hasn't been afraid to give young players their opportunity and that's certainly the case with Emeralds clubmate and St Kierans College student Killian Doyle who starts for the first time in a senior jersey at midfield.

The final change sees Shane Walsh start in place of Paul Cody while Aidan Tallis and Billy Drennan are given another opportunity to impress.
