Time and venue changes for upcoming Kilkenny games

It's set to be another bumper weekend of hurling and camogie in Kilkenny with a host of teams in league and championship action.

The Kilkenny minor hurlers kick things off when they take on Laois in the opening round of the Leinster Championship in Portlaoise on Saturday.

As a result of the Laois hurlers involvement in the league relegation playoff with Westmeath, the game will now throw-in at the earlier time of 12 noon.

In another fixture change, Piltown has benefited from UPMC Nowlan Park hosting the Allianz National League Division 1 semi-final between Kilkenny and Cork as they host a double-header of camogie action on Saturday afternoon.

The Kilkenny Intermediate side meet Cork at 1pm while the Cats senior outfit colllide with Tipperary at 3pm.

The Kilkenny minor camogie team are also in action this weekend when they meet Waterford in their Round 3 clash on Sunday.
