Kilkenny Minor Hurling team named for Leinster Final clash with Galway

The Kilkenny Minor Hurling Team

Kilkenny minor manager Niall Bergin has made one change to his team ahead of this evening's Leinster Final with Galway.

After impressing off the bench in the semi-final success over Wexford, St Martins star James O'Neill comes in for Bill McDermott in the half forward line.

Kilkenny were well beaten by Galway in the round-robin stages of the competition so they will be big underdogs for this game and a number of the Galway team were also on the Presentation Athenry Squad that lost out To St Kierans's in the All-Ireland Colleges Final on St Patricks Day.

Win or lose both teams will still advance to the All-Ireland Semi-finals with Munster winners Clare and finalists Cork awaiting the outcome of tonight's game.

The game takes place in Laois Hire, O'Moore Park Portlaoise and has a 7.30pm throw-in.

The final will also be live on TG4.
