After a hectic opening weekend in the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Intermediate Hurling Championship, there are only eight teams remaining in the race for the Hanrahan Cup.
After first round defeats, Rower Inistioge and Blacks and Whites season are at an end while O'Loughlin Gaels and Carrickshock must still meet to see who retains their status for 2024.
Of the teams left, Young Irelands were hugely impressive in their commanding success over the Rower and they have been given another tough clash with shield winners Dunnamaggin in what is probably the pick of the quarter-final ties.
Fenians of Johnstown have once again avoided the relegation trapdoor but they will be heavy underdogs next weekend when they face off with league winners Thomastown.
The other two ties are interesting in their own right and it will be most noteworthy how St Martins recover from a heavy defeat to Dunnamaggin when meeting a Mooncoin team that had 10 points to spare over Blacks and Whites.
Conahy and Lisdowney wraps things up as the hurling begins to move up a notch with semi-final places on the line this weekend.
Conahy will look to James Bergin and Tom Phelan who were both influential in their relegation semi-final win over O'Loughlins while even in defeat Lisdowney would have learnt plenty from their league final loss to Thomastown.
Quarter-Final Draw
Fenians v Thomastown
Conahy v Lisdowney
Mooncoin v St Martins
Dunnamaggin v Young Irelands
