It’s Stevie Mulrooney’s world and we’re just living in it.

That’s how it feels after the young Kennyswell Road man (8) gave a rousing rendition of Ireland’s Call to more than 50,000 spectators in the Aviva Stadium on Sunday.

Not fazed at all by the magnitude of the occasion, the Toy Show legend’s performance went viral on social media and won strong plaudits from national and international onlookers.

Stevie also received high praise from Ireland boss Andy Farrell, who was pictured with a big smile after the performance.

“He was waving to the crowd, stood there on his own,” Farrell said in a post-match interview.

“I thought this kid’s got it all. He was amazing.”

Many viewers of the Six Nations took to social media platform X to sing Stevie’s praises.

One fan claimed: ‘That is the best rendition of Ireland’s Call I have ever heard, well done Stevie Mulrooney you are an absolute star.’

Another viewer wrote: ‘What a job Stevie Mulrooney did with Ireland’s Call.’

Stevie’s singing also helped spur on the Ireland team, who quickly got down to business and dispatched Italy 36-0.

As for Stevie, he has been inundated with media requests following the match and has reached even more people as a result.

Everybody is looking forward to seeing what this talented Kilkenny youngster does next and are backing him every step of the way.
