Lions Golf Classic prizewinners: Marie Kennedy President Kilkenny Lions Club with representatives of the prizewinning teams and Lions members
The annual golf classic recently organised by Kilkenny Lions Club in Kilkenny Golf Club was a great success.
Marie Kennedy, President Kilkenny Lions Club, presented the proceeds of the classic to the South East Radiotherapy Trust. The Trust provides free and confidential transport for cancer patients who require radiotherapy living in the South East.
Carmel congratulated SERT for the outstanding service they provide to the people of Kilkenny City and County.
She thanked Pat O’Hanlon and his committee who organised the event and all the participants and sponsors.
She also commended the golf club for having the course in great condition.
Claire Tynan and John Coonan thanked the Lions Club for their donation which will be used to improve their facilities in Kilkenny.
