United legends to relive glory days in Kilkenny

Treble winners to appear at special evening in Set Theatre

Andy Cole and Jaap Stam, part of Manchester United's treble-winning team of 1999, will appear at a special evening in Set Theatre

Two of the Manchester United heroes from 1999 will be in Kilkenny to share their memories from their glory days at Old Trafford.

The Set Theatre will host an evening with Andy Cole and Jaap Stam this November, with the treble-winning duo sharing stories from their illustrious careers with the Red Devils.

Listen to the dressing room tales from the Alex Ferguson era and find out what it was like to play alongside Eric Cantona, Roy Keane, David Beckham and Paul Scholes – and, of course, how it really felt to make history and win the iconic treble.

Cole and Stam were part of one of United’s most successful eras, their time at the club forming the centrepiece of glittering careers. Andy Cole, a recent inductee to the Premier League Hall of Fame, is the third highest goalscorer in Premier League history. Jaap Stam, widely regarded as one of the greatest defenders of all time, won the Premier League in each year he played in England. He also played for historic clubs AC Milan, Lazio and Ajax.

Tickets for An Evening with Andy Cole and Jaap Stam, which will be held in Set Theatre on November 25, are on sale from https://set.ie/. Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult. Meet and Greet packages are also available.
