Kilkenny GAA have expressed their sadness following the recent passing of former hurler, Mick Fleming.
"As a young man, Mick hurled for his club, St Senan’s Kilmacow, and he was also on the Kilkenny inter-county panel," began a statement from Kilkenny GAA.
"Mick won an All Ireland Junior Hurling title in 1956, Leinster Senior Hurling titles in 1958 and 1959 and an Oireachtas medal in 1959.

"Mick was also a member of the Kilkenny senior hurling team that reached the All-Ireland Final and the replay in 1959. With his club, Mick and his teammates won the Junior County Final in 1956.
"Kilkenny GAA would like to extend its sympathies to Mick’s daughters Margaret, Catherine and Clare, son Barry, his brothers and sisters, grandchildren, daughter-in-law and sons-in-law and extended family. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam."
