Dunnamaggin's Brian Hickey comes into the side at wing back in place of his namesake Darragh who drops out of the matchday squad altogether.
The Cats will be looking to back up their huge opening victory over Wexford but they can expect a stiffer test against a Galway team who defeated Dublin in their first fixture.
