TJ Reid returns from injury as Kilkenny name team to face Offaly

TJ Reid has been named at corner forward for Saturday's game with Offaly.

Kilkenny manager Derek Lyng has made three changes to his team ahead of Saturday evening's Round 3 Leinster Championship clash with Offaly in UPMC Nowlan Park.

There is a welcome return to action for TJ Reid as he makes his first championship appearance of the season while David Blanchfield is also back from injury after hobbling off in the second half of the victory over Galway.

Dicksboro's Harry Shine is the third change as he's named in the half forward line with Fionan Mackessy dropping to the bench and the Shamrocks pair of Eoin Cody and Richie Reid out of the matchday squad altogether.

There's further good news on the Kilkenny front with Adrian Mullen deemed fit enough to appear among the substitutes as the Cats look to claim a third victory of the campaign.

Throw-in on Saturday is at 6pm and the game will not be televised.
