Kilkenny manager Derek Lyng has opted to rest a number of regulars for Sunday afternoon's round 5 Leinster Championship meetig with Wexford.

In total there are 10 changes from last weekend's victory over Dublin with just Eoin Murphy, David Blanchfield, Adrian Mullen, John Donnelly and TJ Reid maintaing their place in the starting selection for a contest that is basically a dead rubber for both teams.

Peter Connellan, Padraic Moylan, Tommy Walsh and Zach Bay Hammond come into defence while there is also a new midfield pairing of Killian Doyle and Peter McDonald.

Luke Connellan, Fionan Mackessy, Owen Wall and Billy Drennan are the new faces in the forward line as the Cats look to round off the group stages with a faultless five wins from five.

Wexford's elimination coupled with Kilkenny already casting their eye towards the Leinster Final means it is a game of little consequence but it's still a big local derby with both sides looking to claim bragging rights.

The game throws-in from Chadwicks Wexford Park at 2pm and it will not be televised.
