Tommy Walsh
Tullaroan and Kilkenny hurler Tommy Walsh is set for an extended spell on the sidelines after he suffered a cruciate ligament injury in his side's senior league victory over Clara last Friday night.
The talented defender saw his knee give way after he turned to face up to Rory Glynn in the opening few minutes of the game and after going for a scan in the last few days, the final prognosis has not been a good one.
Walsh will also miss the majority if not all of Kilkenny's inter-county season in 2026 so it's a huge setback on both fronts and we wish well in his recovery.

It's been a testing few weeks for the Tullaroan club on the injury front with Shane Walsh going down with a shoulder injury the previous week against county champions Thomastown and he looks to be in a race to be fit for the upcoming championship.
With a local derby to come against Graigue Ballycallan this Saturday, the squad depth in Tullaroan is sure to be tested over the rest of the league/championship season.
