St Kieran's Leinster schools semi-final falls victim to the weather

The Leinster A Corn Ui Dhuill Senior Hurling Semi-Final between St Kieran's College and Good Counsel has been called off due to an unplayable pitch.

The last four affair was due to take place in the Wexford Centre of Excellence in Ferns at 1.45pm and a refixture will now result with further details to follow.

The other semi-final does go ahead this afternoon with Kilkenny CBC taking on Colaiste Mhuire, Mullingar in SETU Carlow on the 4G surface with a 12.30pm start.

The Leinster Schools hurling final is due to take place next week so a new fixture date is anticipated as soon as possible.
