Killian Doyle and Shane Walsh will both be looking to win silverware this evening
It will be an all-Limerick affair as UL and Mary I clash in tonight's Fitzgibbon Cup Final but there is still a sprinkling of Kilkenny interest in the Croke Park third level decider.
University of Limerick will be looking to achieve a unique double after winning the Sigerson Cup for the first time ever last Wednesday night and victory this evening will see them win back to back hurling crowns.
The favourites have a star-studded team in their ranks with the likes of Adam Screeney, Darragh McCarthy, Aidan O'Connor and Adam English all big name senior stars and they will be captained by Kilkenny's Killian Doyle who lines out at wing back.
The Emeralds man will be joined by Eoghan Lyng (Rower Inistioge) who is named among the subs as the Limerick college looks to win the title for a 10th time.
Mary Immaculate will be more than decent opposition and led by Jamie Wall as manager, they have accounted for SETU Waterford, ATU Galway, UCD and DCU on their route to the final.
