Eoghan Cahill (Inset) is joint-captain of the team
Kilkenny under-20 manager Henry Shefflin has named a 40 player squad ahead of the beginning of the Leinster Hurling Championship early next month.
Joint captain of the team Eoghan Cahill, David Barcoe, Fionn Mahony, Louis Raggett, Jake Mullen, Bill McDermott and Ben Nevin have all been selected just days after winning the All-Ireland colleges title with St Kieran's.
Added to that, David Barcoe Eoin Brennan, Rory Garrett, Darragh Vereker and Ed McDermott have recently tasted senior experience so it's a talented Kilkenny squad on the shape of it.
After winning a Leinster title last term a huge number of players are still underage and with Shefflin and Brian Hogan (Selector) involved with the team, it will be interesting to see how they get on.
