The memorial service for deceased members and former members will be on Thursday (8pm) in the clubhouse.
The list of deceased members and former members is on the men's and ladies notice boards. If members know someone who passed away during the year and whose names is not on the sheet please inform the office (056 7765400).
All family members and friends of the deceased are welcome.
COURSE NEWS: Members have been asked to take due care and attention while the new pipe laying work is in progress. There are some holes left open while fittings are being replaced.
The course toilet is out of commission as there is no flow of water to it.
Members will have noticed ropes and stanchions around the fringes of several greens. This is to help protect these areas during the Winter months. Golfers have been requested not to remove them.
Should they interfere with your swing and/or stance then Rule 24:2 applies (immovable obstruction). A player should go to his nearest point of relief and drop within one club length, not nearer the hole.
Players are requested to enter the greens via the openings provided.
Members wishing to play on mid-week days prior to 9am should commence from the 1st tee. This is to give the course staff an opportunity to get their work done on the opening few holes.
CHRISTMAS MIXED:The entry sheet for the Christmas mixed, scheduled for Sunday, December 4, will be available shortly.
DINNER: The joint Captains' (Frank Dalton and Barbara Teehan) dinner will be in the clubhouse on Saturday week, November 26 (7.30pm).
Those interested should place their names on the notice at the entrance of the bar. Entertainment will be provided by Eugene Dewberry and Kevin Dwyer. Dress informal. Tickets cost €35.

The new look Winter Series for 2016/17 has been flying since it started.
This year there is a new format with a singles qualifier on Thursday and Friday every week until Thursday, March 30. Visitor €20; members €5. Online booking available.
The top three qualifiers will go through on each qualifying date to the final on Friday, March 31. There are great prizes to be won.
Members have been adivsed to use the computer to enter their scores in the 11 hole competitions.
ANNUAL MEETING: The annual meeting is Friday, December 9. All members will receive a letter with nomination forms shortly.
They should return any nominations, motions or open letters to the secretary for inclusion at the meeting by no later than Friday, November 29.
OPTIONS: With Christmas just around the corner there are a number of membership options available and the club encouraged prospective and current members to consider a part payment option as a gift for a loved one.
Green Fee vouchers are always available. They can be purchased in the Golf Shop (056 7726699).
