ST CANICE’S came up short in the All-Ireland junior B club final when they faced a very strong Broadford side, Limerick on Saturday in Mullingar. In the semi-final the city side defeated Corduff, Monaghan comfortably and looked like this was going to be their year.
However, in the final they could not get going and were beaten 84-40. The team was made up by Dylan Clifford, Canice Pratt, Clinton Maher and Sean Quigley.
Hopefully the lads will keep the team together and next year will go on step further and take the title.
Elsewhere there was a very busy week of fixtures. Kilkenny juveniles travel to Crinkle on Saturday with all age groups in action.
