Kilkenny garda station pay tribute to loyal colleague after 25 years of service

Thomastown Garda Station paid tribute to 'The Real Boss' last week as Margaret Grace was presented with a Nostalgia rose bush by Sergeant PJ Griffin to celebrate 25 years working at the Co Kilkenny garda station.

Ms Grace started as an Office Administrator in 2000 in the old station on Low Street before moving to the newly constructed building in 2002.

"We are deeply indebted to Margaret who’s like a second mammy to us all here in Thomastown," a garda spokesperson said

"Congratulations Mags!! You're a star."
