Uisce Éireann works set to disrupt traffic in Thomastown - Kilkenny Live

Kilkenny County Council has advised that Uisce Éireann is carrying out essential works on the water network on Lady’s Well Street in Thomastown. Shareridge are responsible for delivering this project on Uisce Éireanns behalf.

To deliver these works efficiently and safely a road closure has been granted by Kilkenny County Council.

Lady's Well Street will be closed from its junction with R700 for approximately 100 meters from Monday, February 16 to Sunday, February 22 from 8am until 9pm each day.

Traffic flows will be diverted during this time with local access and emergency services access only.

RESULT: The location of Kilkenny's best Full Irish Breakfast is revealed!

Thomastown Primary Care Centre access will be maintained at all times via a two-way traffic management system along the R700 from Kilkenny Road/Texaco. 

Uisce Éireann regrets any inconvenience that the delivery of these necessary works may cause and will make every effort to minimise disruption.
