***UPDATED*** Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a single-vehicle crash outside Gowran Park Racecourse in County Kilkenny.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene at approximately 7.45pm on Tuesday evening.
The driver of the car failed to remain at the scene.
Anyone with information can contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
