In May 2024, music fans flocked to UPMC Nowlan Park to see 'The Boss', Bruce Springsteen perform.
Thousands of adoring fans from all four corners of the globe came out in force to see the super-star in what proved to be a special night. A similar atmosphere is anticipated in June 2026 as another mega-store is scheduled to visit the Marble City.
After much speculation, it was confirmed this week that Garth Brooks is coming to Kilkenny!
Brooks will play UPMC Nowlan Park on Friday, June 4 and Saturday, June 5.
Aikens Promotions, which promotes and books shows for an array of major venues in Ireland, have brought the event to the Kilkenny venue along with Limerick, Cork, Galway and Belfast.
“Ireland we are coming to you this time,” Brooks said in a video released on Thursday morning.
“The secret’s out And I could NOT be happier! 5 Cities. 2027 I can't wait.”
