A Yellow Warning comes into effect this weekend
It's going to get very cold again in Kilkenny, this weekend, Met Eireann is warning.
According to the national weather service it will turn cold across the country on Friday evening and stay very cold until Thursday morning. An Arctic airflow will become established, bringing sharp to severe frosts and icy stretches on roads and footpaths.
As well as low temperatures Met Eireann is warning that some showers of hail, sleet and snow are expected with the potential for freezing fog.

This Yellow Weather Advisory is in place from 2pm on Friday until noon next Thursday for the whole of Ireland.
