Met Éireann is warning of potential localised flooding as a status yellow thunderstorm warning is issued for Kilkenny.
The Thunderstorm and Rain warning for Leinster, Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo, Tipperary, Waterford is valid from 12 noon today.
“Localised slow-moving showers with heavy downpours, potential thunderstorms and a chance of hail,” are all possible, Met Éireann warned.
They said the possible impacts include difficult driving conditions and possible localised flooding.
The warning is in place from 12 noon until 10pm tonight.
