Met Éireann have provided their Kilkenny weather forecast for the next couple of days and it looks like more warm weather is expected.
Today (Wednesday) will be warm and dry with good spells of sunshine. Highest temperatures of 20 to 25 degrees, warmest in inland areas, with light and variable winds.
Wednesday evening: "Becoming cloudy with patchy rain or drizzle, mainly in the northwest. Mild and humid with temperatures not falling below 12 to 14 degrees, in a light and variable breeze."
Thursday: "Mostly cloudy with patchy light rain or drizzle at first but it will become drier and brighter later in the day. Highest temperatures of 19 to 23 degrees with light to moderate southwesterly winds."
Thursday night: "Cloud and showery rain will move in from the west during Thursday night but it will stay dry in the east. Mild and humid with temperatures not falling below 13 to 15 degrees, in a light to moderate southerly wind."
