Staff at Jurassic Newpark in Kilkenny City managed to see the lighter side of the damage caused by Storm Darragh over the weekend.
The storm caused some minor structural damage around the park, notably knocking over the Jurassic Newpark stegosaurus.
The park staff saw this as an amazing opportunity in this to recreate a famous scene from the Jurassic Park film franchise, where Alan Grant couldn't resist giving a dinosaur a big hug.

Mark Flynn, General Manager at Newpark Hotel Kilkenny, told Kilkenny Live that the hotel and park did witness 'some damage over the weekend'.
"Nothing major, but one of the dinosaurs fell over," he explained.
"So we used it as an opportunity to recreate the scene from Jurassic Park. The stegosaurus is doing well now."
The dino-trail at Jurassic Newpark gives visitors an opportunity to encounter 17 lifelike dinosaur replicas that roar and move, giving people a chance to come face-to-face with some of the mightiest beasts to have ever lived.
