Snow has fallen in many areas of Kilkenny this evening, as the county remains under a status orange snow-ice weather warning from Met Éireann.
Parts of the county including Callan have seen heavy showers of snow, so too has Kilkenny City and areas of south and north Kilkenny, however there are still some pockets of the county (as of this evening) yet to experience any snow.

Drivers are advised to proceed with caution, particularly on rural roads, making journeys only when essential.
Conditions deteriorating here in #Kilkenny but already snow in parts of #Carlow, #Tipperary and particularly #Limerick tonight as this weather system tracks northwards.
