Community spirit is 'snow' joke in Kilkenny

Communities across Kilkenny have been showing great spirit in the last few days as cold weather continues to cause chaos across the county.

No more was that evident than on Monday, when Kells shopkeeper Bob Moore was assisted with his milk delivery via a tractor and transport box from Kilkenny.

Posting the above image on social media, Brian Ireland thanked Bob Moore for looking after his custmers in Bob's XL Gala Shop in Kells. "Well done Bob," he said.

Back in 2022, Bob Moore’s XL Gala in Kells was among an elite group of retailers from around the country honoured for their outstanding commitment to their local communities at the annual XL Retailer Awards celebration.
