It is understood that a section of the roof of the the sports complex in Mooncoin in South Kilkenny has been blown off due to Storm Éowyn.
Due to storm damage the sports complex in Mooncoin in South Kilkenny is closed for all activities (including the gym, community walkway etc) until further notice.

"Please do not park or enter new car park," staff stated. "We appreciate your cooperation, please stay away and safe stay.
"We will keep you updated in the coming days. We will be looking for volunteers as part of organised remedial work later. From Mooncoin GAA."
