Met Eireann has issued a Yellow Weather Warning for Kilkenny - thunder and lightening is on the way!
According to the alert, the warning will be in place from midnight, tonight (Wednesday) until 2pm tomorrow (Thursday).
Kilkenny County Council, sharing the weather warning, said the county can expect heavy showers with scattered thunder storms.
With this weather comes the risk of localised flooding and lightening damage. Motorists are also warned of difficult travel conditions and poor visibility.
