Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow Rainfall Warning for County Kilkenny.
The weather warning will be in place from 9pm on Monday, December 8 to Tuesday, December 9 at 9am.
Met Éireann says heavy rain falling on already saturated ground could have a number of impacts including localised flooding, difficult travel conditions. Outdoor events could also be impacted.

The same warning will also apply to Carlow, Wexford, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford.
A further wind warning for all of Ireland - will be valid between 3am and 9pm on Tuesday.
