Road closure on the R703 at Dangan Terrace in Thomastown
Emergency services are continuing to deal with a fallen tree on the R703 at Columbkille near Thomastown in County Kilkenny.
Damaged earlier today due to Storm Bram, the tree poses a risk to motorists and pedestrians in its current state and must be cleared.

Fire services have maintained a road closure in the area (as of 6.12pm) since being alerted to the incident.
Meanwhile, motorists are advised to drive with caution on the Kilmoganny-Windgap Road approaching Kildrummy where an ESB pole is loose and blocking the road.
