ALERT: Status yellow ice and low temperature warning issued for Kilkenny

WEATHER WARNING: Low Temperature/Ice Warning issued

A nationwide status yellow low temperature/ice warning has been issued by Met Éireann as temperatures look set to plummet later this week.

The warning comes into effect at 10pm on Thursday until 10am on Friday.

Met Éireann have warned that hazardous conditions are possible in Kilkenny with a sharp to severe frost and icy surfaces.

Temperatures are expected to fall to -4 degrees Celsius.
