Following the success of the plant sale and coffee morning last year, Kilkenny Flower Club has decided to hold the same this year.
The charity chosen is ‘As I Am’. This is Ireland’s National Charity for Autism, supporting adults and children with autism.
The plant sale will take place in Dunmore Community Hall, R95 NX08, next Saturday, May 20 from 10am to noon. Admission is €5. This also entitles you to tea/coffee and cake.
It is a lovely way to spend a morning, meet friends, chat, have tea/coffee and cake and treat yourself to something nice for your garden. Members of the flower club will be busy potting up plants and baking delicious cakes over the next few days.
Many people will donate plants and cakes as well.
