It’s never too early to plan for a stunning spring and summer garden - and a plant sale in Callan, this weekend, is the perfect first step!
Living and Growing, located in Westcourt Walled Garden in Callan, is holding an end of season plant sale this Saturday, September 9, from 11am to 5pm.
After a mixed summer with plenty of rain, plants are now growing in abundance and it’s a great time to pick up some beautiful plants.
Plant now for beautiful, healthy plants next spring.
Apple Pressing
Marking the start of harvest season, on Saturday there will also be an apple pressing!
If you have a good crop of apples bring them along so you can go home with fresh apple juice. Don’t forget to bring empty bottles!
Tea and cake
On Saturday there will also be a tea, coffee and home baking stall where you can indulge in a delicious, sweet treat while supporting two good causes. A donation will be made to the Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association (IMNDA) and Westcourt Community Growers.
Everyone is welcome, even if it is to take in the beautiful Walled Garden of Westcourt and to talk plants!
