Jack McHugh performing at the AKA Alternative Kilkenny Art Festival in 2022
Following on from the success of their Ambient Electronica and Techno night in December, The Marble City Audio Visual Collective are hosting another evening gig in The Wildflower Café in Butler Gallery this Thursday.
Local artist Jack McHugh will take to the stage to perform a solo acoustic set of mostly original songs.
Back in 2021, his song ‘I Still Get It’ became an anthem in local efforts to save the Smithwick’s Experience.
Since then, he has released that song and others on his first EP, ‘Inbetween’.
Renowned for his poetic lyricism and soulful vocals, McHugh is a troubadour whose music transcends genres, weaving stories that resonate with the human experience.
Drawing inspiration from life's highs and lows, Jack's acoustic compositions are a poignant reflection of love, loss, and the journey we all navigate.
His performance will be on from 6pm to 8pm and tickets are €5 euro (+Eventbrite booking fee).
Tickets can be bought on Eventbrite or on the door on the night.
