A Kilkenny rock band have been announced for one of Electric Picnic's legendary stages, the Salty Dog Stage!
The Donnys have been named on a line-up topped by Aslan.
The 'infamous decomposing trawler on the forest bed' will host The Donnys for the second time, this year, after a great show last year.
It's an action packed summer for the Kilkenny band - last month they were filming for an upcoming episode of An Ghig Mhór, a brand new RTE television series airing in Autumn 2024. They were filmed performing Pegasus Nightclub in the Kilford Arms Hotel.
More recently, The Donnys were announced as one of three support acts for fellow Kilkenny Cat Robert Grace, at Summer in the City in Waterford. The band also has a headline gig booked in their home city as part of a Kilkenny County Council Arts Office and Cleere’s pub showcase of fresh talent, coming in September.
