Kilkenny Tennis Club buzzed with excitement as it hosted a highly successful fundraiser in support of 25 Loreto students who will be traveling to Chicago, USA, to compete in the prestigious Public Access to Law (PAL) World Final this November.
The Tennis Club event saw 45 enthusiastic tennis players engage in spirited tennis battles across three levels and grades. The stunning weather allowed players and attendees to enjoy dining al fresco, adding to the festive atmosphere.
PAL is anevent where a mock legal trail is debated by the participants in a competitive manner, as if it were a real trial. The Loreto students, whose dedication and hard work have earned them a spot in the world final, expressed their gratitude for the overwhelming support.
"This fundraiser not only helps us financially but also boosts our confidence as we prepare to represent our school and country on a global stage," said a Loreto PAL team member.
Kilkenny Tennis Club's Captain, Brian Doyle, also praised the event's success.
