Lisa O'Rourke Kilkenny Rose
Our Kilkenny Rose, Lisa O’Rourke, is looking on track to win this year’s Rose of Tralee, according to a top bookie!
Lisa, who is from Castlecomer, has been tipped to take the world-famous title when the new Rose of Tralee is announced in Tralee, next Tuesday. She currently works in communications for Irish Dairy Co-Op Tirlán, based in Kilkenny city.
Lisa has said it is a dream come true to be representing Kilkenny at the Rose of Tralee, having pictured herself as a judge growing up. She currently sits at 16/1 to win with Ladbrokes.
Commenting, Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “Already a dream come true for the Kilkenny Rose, she might also take the crown as punters are in with plenty of support!”
