World-renowned Irish singer to perform in Kilkenny

With just one month to go, excitement is building for Windgap GAA’s much-anticipated fundraiser at St Canice's Cathedral on Friday, October 4 at 7.30pm. 

The event will be headlined by the world-renowned Irish singer and harpist Orla Fallon, with a special performance by the well-known Kilkenny choir, 'In Caelo'.

Orla Fallon, a former member of the internationally acclaimed group Celtic Woman and the celebrated chamber choir 'Anúna', has captivated audiences worldwide with her ethereal voice and masterful harp playing.

This exclusive concert in Kilkenny offers a rare opportunity to experience her live in an intimate and historic setting.

Fallon's performance will blend together traditional Irish music with a contemporary twist with her impressive career bringing her to prestigious venues across the globe.

Joining Orla Fallon on the night is In Caelo, a chamber choir based in Inistioge, County Kilkenny. Known for their harmonious blend and exquisite renditions of both classical and modern pieces, In Caelo has established themselves as a local favourite, making them the perfect complement to Fallon’s performance.

All proceeds from this event will go directly to the development of the Windgap GAA grounds, ensuring the future of the club and providing a top-class facility for the community. Windgap GAA has been a cornerstone of the local community for decades, and this fundraiser is crucial in supporting the next generation of athletes.
