Sold out opening shows at this year's Kilkenomics

A number of tonight's shows including The David McWilliams Podcast LIVE are sold out

Kilkenomics is back in town with numerous shows at this year's festival already sold out.

A handful of tickets remain available for the sixty plus panel discussions that will take place in venues across the Marble City over the coming days.

Kilkenomics opens this evening with a sold out show at the Hole in the Wall where Cormac Lucey, Angelica Oung, Bill Black, Fiona Frawley will debate After Apple: Is Ireland still a Tax Haven?

The hugely popular economist; columnist and festival founder David McWilliams will also take to the stage tonight in another sold out show The David McWilliams Podcast LIVE at the Watergate Theatre.

There are still a number of tickets left for shows later this evening and over the weekend but booking is advisable.

Kilkenomics is the world's first economics and comedy festival and is in its 15th year.

The festival runs from November 7 to 10.
