Runners of all ages converged on Danesfort at the weekend for the sixth offering of the Mile Marker road race.
The event has been a hugely popular charity race since its inception in 2018, welcoming many athletes from all over the county and country. The Mile Marker has a distance to suit all, offering a 5km, 5 mile and 10 mile race. All athletes got a technical top as part of their race entry. TAP HERE FOR MORE WHAT'S ON IN KILKENNY
And young runners weren't left out. The ever popular ‘Mile Dash’ was back for primary school children and families, with all children crossing the line to a medal and an ice cream from Billy Brennan’s ice cream van.
