This weekend Kilkenny Rugby Club hosts Relay For Life Kilkenny 2025 - a fund raiser for the Irish Cancer Society that also remembers all those who have passed away from cancer.
The 24-hour event starts on Saturday at 1pm and finishes on Sunday 1pm, this weekend, July 5th and 6th. Everyone is welcome to drop in during the event, to show their support.
Relay for Life is the biggest cancer fundraising initiative across the world. It sees communities across the globe coming together to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer, and stand shoulder to shoulder with those facing cancer.
If you do not have a lot of time on your hands you could pop in on Saturday evening, from 9pm, to take part in a very moving remembrance ceremony. Everyone is welcome, any time throughout the 24 hours, organisers would love to see you there.
