Local man Ger Comerford will perform the offical ribbon cutting ceremony.
A special guest on the day will be former RTE newsreader, Eileen Dunne. Ms Dunne has her own special link with Muckalee as her father, RTE presenter and commentator Mick Dunne, who was from just over the county border in Laois, visited Muckalee to officially open the then new community hall, many years ago.
