Members of the Balkan community in Kilkenny are gearing up a party tomorrow (Saturday, October 11) in Pegasus at the Kilford Arms from 7pm.
This is the third such party that the community have organised in Kilkenny so far - the most recent being in the height of summer at the Home Rule Club.

Orgainser Zana Elez (who operates a popular boutique on William Street in Kilkenny) explained that the events serve as ‘an opportunity to celebrate culture, connect with the community, and experience a slice of the Balkans right here in Ireland’.
Zana stated that events like these help to solidify the relationships between people living locally from different Balkan countries, as well as giving locals and those from other countries an opportunity to sample their culture and traditions.
