Dancing with the Stars
It’s Movie Week on Dancing with the Stars and time to see if our contestants can give blockbuster performances this Sunday.
Kilkenny woman and reigning Rose of Tralee Katelyn Cummins will be among the eleven remaining couples will perform routines inspired by some of the biggest movies of all time.
Katelyn is back in the ballroom this week after jointly occupying the top spot on the leaderboard last week. Katelyn and her pro dancer Leonardo Lini will dance an American Smooth to Rachel Zegler’s version of the ‘Whistle While You Work’ from the recent live-action version of Snow White!
Among the movies you can expect to hear familiar tunes from on Sunday evening will be: Superman, The Commitments, Shark Tale, Grease, Fame, The Phantom of the Opera, Mask, Wicked and K-Pop Demon Hunters!

The couple with the lowest combined total from judges’ scores and public votes to date will be eliminated this Sunday 18 January. Each celebrity couple will be scored by an expert panel of four judges: Oti Mabuse, Brian Redmond, Arthur Gourounlian and Karen Byrne, and as well as the viewing public at home, with the winning couple claiming the much-coveted glitterball trophy at the end of the series.
Dancing with the Stars is hosted by Jennifer Zamparelli and Laura Fox and airs Sundays at 6:30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player until mid March.
The eliminated couple will be interviewed by Laura Fox on 2FM at 9:30am on Monday morning and by Oliver Callan just after 11am.
