Marc Roberts performs his critically acclaimed and award-winning show 'A Tribute To The Music of John Denver' - a full multimedia journey through John Denver's life and music in Kilkenny next month.
In October 1997, the legendary John Denver was tragically killed and the world lost one of its greatest singer/songwriters.

Marc performs all the hits including 'Annie's Song', 'Leaving On A Jet Plane', 'Take Me Home Country Roads', 'Some Days Are Diamonds', 'Calypso' and 'Thank God I'm A Country Boy', while also narrating John Denver’s life story to a multimedia backdrop.
Marc Roberts' first self-titled album was released and five albums followed. ‘Meet Me Half Way’, ‘Once in your Life’, 'The Promise' ‘Now & Then’, and 'A tribute to the music of John Denver’, which went to No.1 in the iTunes country charts.
Marc has co-written with many top songwriters including Brian Kennedy, Charlie McGettigan, Jimmy MacCarthy, Darren Holden, Billy Farrell, Ben Mills, Derek Ryan, Grammy Nominee Billy Yates, Max T. Barnes and Daniel O'Donnell. With Daniel, Marc has co written and recorded 15 songs and has had a top 20 hit in the UK singles charts. He was awarded four platinum discs. In 1997 Marc represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest and came a credible second with ‘Mysterious Woman’.
Marc's show 'A Tribute To The Music of John Denver' has been a huge success, selling out prestigious venues, including the National Concert Hall, Dublin on two occasions and Marc has toured the show in Belgium, Germany, Australia, Sri Lanka and John Denver's home town of Aspen, Colorado.
'A Tribute To The Music of John Denver' will be performed at the Watergate Theatre on February 5.
