Barnardo's to benefit

Barnardo's to benefit

A group of women who have been separated from their children through adoption and who have benefited from Barnardos Post Adoption Services are hosting a special event.

Since 1977, Barnardos hasbeen helping birth mothers, adoptees and adoptive parents, providing training, education and support through tracing and meeting process, facilitating in a supportive and caring environment.

Incredibly, this work is free and the organisation relies on very limited funding and the goodwill of people who avail of their services. For that reason, a fundraising event is taking place in the Newpark in the Rossmore Suite on Saturday 12th March at 9.pm. Local musician, Mark Anthony McGrath is going to play classical guitar and will be joined by his niece Vanessa who will sing Leonard Cohen songs.

Relish Mark Anthony's play and the velvet tones of Vanessa’s know a treat that is in store.

If you haven’t had the pleasure, here is your chance to enjoy a top quality performance and support a very worthy cause.

Entry to both events is €12 ickets on eventbrite.ie .

There are also limited tickets available on the door.
