Castlecomer Community Hall will be the place to cut loose later this month as, uniquely, every single student in Castlecomer Community School's Transition Year will take to the stage with their high-energy production of Footloose!
Running from Wednesday March 25 to Friday March 27, this toe-tapping musical promises a fantastic night of entertainment for the whole community.
Based on the hit film that had everyone dancing in the aisles, Footloose tells the story of city teenager Ren McCormack who arrives in a small town where dancing has been banned.
What follows is a lively battle of wills, big personalities, and even bigger dance numbers as Ren and his friends try to convince the town that sometimes you just have to… well… cut footloose!
The talented cast and crew of Transition Year at Castlecomer Community School have been working tirelessly behind the scenes for months, rehearsing dance routines, perfecting harmonies, and putting together a show that is bursting with energy, humour, and heart.
With colourful characters, catchy songs, and plenty of high-kicking choreography, audiences can expect an evening that will have toes tapping and hands clapping from start to finish.
But get your tickets fast!  The show is selling fast and is expected to be a sell out (tickets available from Castlecomer CS).
