If the glass slipper fits....

Watergate Productions will stage their annual pantomime next year from January 8 to 14 - just after Christmas.

The pantomime has been running annually since 1993 as a fundraiser for The Watergate Theatre.

Over the years, Watergate Productions have staged several pantomimes which have ranged from the fabulous to the downright ridiculous.

This year promises to recreate some of that panto’ magic as the Production Team prepare to stage the classic and widely loved Cinderella. The Watergate have recruited Olivia Smith as Director, Ollie Hennesy as Musical Director, Marie Cashin as Choreographer, and Dee Gibney as Production Manager.

Kilkenny audiences can rest assured – they are in safe, not to mention very talented, hands! The script is written, the set, designed and the production team are already busy at work, making preparations for the New Year. Everything is in place. Everything is ready to go. Everything - except for our prince and princess!

If you are 18 or over and think you would make a great leading lady or a “charming” leading man, then The Watergate Theatre invites you to come along to audition at The Watergate on Tuesday, August 30th at 7 p.m. or on Saturday, September 3rd at 2 p.m.

If you are interested in being part of the Panto Chorus, then you are cordially invited to join the team for a get together at the Watergate Theatre on September 12 at 7 p.m. for an informal meeting and information night.

Audition pieces are available from the Watergate Box Office. Alternatively, you can find details on our web page www.kilkennypanto.com
