Clare Lynch, Siobhan and Bridget Cody will perform in Cleere's on Thursday, December 14
A concert, which will feature singers, musicians and a local comedian will be held in Cleere's Theatre on Parliament street on Thursday, December 14.
The show is produced to raise much needed funds for the local Good Shepherd Centre.
Centre director Noel Sherry, said he was thrilled at the ongoing support from the local community and acknowledged the importance of the various fundraisers .
The Good Shepherd Centre is a non-profit organisation helping homeless men and families who are at risk of becoming homeless in Kilkenny and its environs.
It offers emergency accommodation, transition housing and resettlement services with the aim of returning people to sustained independent living.
It is a place for support services rather than just a hostel. In the delivery of these services we represent a client centred approach, using agreed Personal Action Plans, supported by many local and national agencies. Each client of the Centre is assessed and reviewed on a weekly basis so that changing needs are identified for a seamless transition to secure independent living.
Taking in part in the concert will be singing duo Conan Doyle and Tony Cleere, comedian Michael Rice, Josh Dowling, Aidan Byrne and Bridget Cody Clare Lynch and Siobhán Cody. The show at Cleere’s is on December 14. Tickets (€5) available from Siobhan Cody( 0851362325) or on the night at Cleeres.
